The Banga news presents ‘Prithibir Chabi,’ the first digital solo concert of Srikanta Acharya in 2020, celebrating 20 years of song-writing of lyricist Arna Seal, his spouse. This will be an evening of songs written by Arna as well as other songs that the couple hold special. In conversation with Rini, a long- time friend, this is Srikanta & Arna’s first ever public appearance reminiscing their amazing musical journey together. Musicians Subhendu Sekhar Das and Dipanjan Roy will be accompanying Srikanta Acharya in the home recordings. Symphony Sounds will provide equipment support.

Apart from their children Proiti and Purab, Srikanta and Arna will also be joined by some of their dear friends and musical associates Joy Sarkar, Banikantha, Subhamita and Jayati Chakraborty ‘Live’ and through video bytes.

In these unprecedented times of darkness and distancing, this concert is a humble attempt to create moments of succor, hope, togetherness and contentedness.
