Presented by Boroline, "Phool Phutuk Na Phutuk" is an evening of music, poetry, prose, and memories featuring Soumitra Chattopadhyay, Srikanta Acharya and Srijato. Divided into two halves, the performance will follow the structure of a typical Bengali 'adda'. The first half will veer around Bengali songs, poems and prose readings are loosely woven around the theme of Winter and the second half will bring the same in Spring. While the octogenarian and legendary actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay will read some rare and popular poetry of Tagore, Jibonando, Subhas Mukhopadhyay and so on, he will also read out letters of Tagore. Srikanta Acharya will weave his music into these readings. He will be singing a range of songs from Tagore, to Ghazals to his own songs and songs from the films of Soumitra Chattopadhyay. Srijato will present his own as well as other contemporary poetry.
