Meghnad Badh Kavya

Description:

On the occasion of the 197th Birth Anniversary of Michael Madhusudan Dutta, Nava Nalanda Group of Schools and Naba Robi Kiron are organizing the presentation of one of his greatest works "Meghnad Badh Kavya" in the form of a dance drama. This epic poem is very the focal epitome of Bengali Literature. The meaning, setting, rhyming and character of this sonnet in all it's glory is contemporary and extraordinary to this day. This is like looking back at a 19th century work of art while standing in the 21st century. The first time this Sonnet was staged at Nava Nalanda in the year 1996, and on the upcoming 197th birth anniversary of the great poet, this play will be presented again on the stage. It will be available for viewing at 8 pm on the 25th of this month.

This show will be available for 3 days.
