Description:

Shruti Parishad is planning to organize a programme to celebrate the Birth Centenary of Late Subinoy Roy, one of the stalwarts in singing Rabindra Sangeet. He was known for his keen attention to the purity of form in rendering Rabindra Sangeet. He sang some of the rarest Rabindra Sangeets which very few dared to sing. He established Shruti Parishad as a music school to spread Rabindra culture and the rendering of Tagore’s music in its purest form. Shruti Parishad is celebrating its founder’s Birth Anniversary every year as remembrance to its noble purpose.

A concert of Sri Suranjan Roy, son of Late Subinoy Roy and present key person of Shruti Parishad , himself is an eminent singer of Rabindra Sangeet and also an excellent teacher will perform to commemorate the event which would be telecast in digital platform on ticket basis.
